Sit On Top Kayaks

Sit-on-top kayaks are the most versatile option of our rental fleet enabling guests to easily swim, splash, paddle and play. Our Sit on top kayaks are designed to withstand slightly choppier lake water conditions and can be easily paddled by one, two or even three passengers depending on the size and availability. Guests who choose a sit on top kayak option should be prepared for the possibility of getting wet.

Starting at $35/hour for a Single (1 person), $45/hour for a Double (2 person) and $55/hour for a Triple (3 person) kayak.

Clear Bottom Kayaks

Our clear bottom kayaks are suitable for 1-2 guests and give paddlers the opportunity to explore both the shoreline as well as depths of up to 65 feet through the bottom of their kayak! With a narrow design, they are great for performance as well as a relaxing and leisurely paddle along the shoreline.

Rental Limitations: Our clear bottom vessels are to be launched and returned to our launch lane and should not be beached at any other area of shoreline. Rental region and duration may also be limited for clear bottom vessels.

Capacity Recommendations: While these vessels can be seated for up to 2 adults, we highly recommend adults ride in single kayaks for more visibility through the bottom of the kayak.

Standard Paddleboards

Clearly Tahoe offers a variety of paddleboards suitable for both beginner and more experiences paddlers. Our 10ft boards are designed for 1 passenger 12 years or older while our 11ft board can accommodate up to 1 adult and 1 child under 90lbs. Seats are available upon request for both our 10 and 11ft boards and enable guests to take a break from standing to relax and paddle much like a kayak.

Transparent Paddleboards

Our transparent paddleboards are an incredible new way to kick back, relax and explore Lake Tahoe! Our completely clear paddleboards are suitable for 1 guest 12 years or older and allow paddlers to explore the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe and depths of up to 65 feet below the surface. NOTE: these vessels are not designed to withstand windy or choppy conditions and therefore may have a more limited paddle area for the safety and enjoyment of our guests.
