Nevada Beach Trail Loop

This is a 6.73 mile loop on paved sections of trail. The trail is relatively flat, with some rolling hills that can be easily pedaled over on electric assist bikes. There are opportunities to take a detour to viewpoints of the lake, but this may require some peddling on dirt. This loop is one of the best recommended rides for people who are looking to enjoy a leisurely ride by the beach and through the forests of South Lake Tahoe.

This trail can be split into two sections: the mountain leg and the beach leg. There are some obstacles on the mountain leg of the trail to be aware of such as tree roots, small boulders, and construction detours, as well as a small portion that must be ridden on the road. The beach leg provides access to Nevada Beach and Round Hill Pines Beach Resort.

Kingsbury Stinger Trail

Stinger Trail is a 10.3 mile out-and-back trail. This trail is an awesome ride for intermediate and advanced bikers with prior downhill-riding experience. There is a 1,046 foot elevation gain, with some steep uphills at the beginning of the trail. The downhill sections can be technical, with rock gardens and roots in the trail and tight switchbacks throughout. Our pedal-assist Specialized Turbo Levos are best recommended for this trail to make the uphill sections enjoyable and the downhills fun and fast.

This trail is best suited for advanced mountain bikers. This 10.6 mile trail offers steep uphill climbs and fast downhills with rock gardens scattered throughout. The pedal-assist Specialized Turbo Levos make this an enjoyable pedal, even on more difficult sections of the trail. At the top, there are magnificent views of Lake Tahoe and Stateline.

Old Pony Express Historic Route

The Old Pony Express Historic Route can be accessed within 1/4 mile from our rental location. Pedal along the paved route that was once a section on the historic Pony Express! This trail leads to a network of branching trails, both paved and unpaved. It is great for beginner riders and the Specialized Haul ST and Specialized Como make pedaling easy and fast.
