Clearly Tahoe is a full-service recreational tourism company based in Lake Tahoe. We currently employee a team of over 60 incredible and hard-working tour guides, rental attendants, sales associates, shuttle operators and everyone that makes the magic happen behind the scenes! We offer an array of guided tours via land and water as well as water-sports rentals from the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park. Guests can book online 24-hours/day or stop by one of our 3 shops for information assistance and some great adventure-themed gifts! Our main season runs March – November with some activities limited to spring, fall and/or peak summer. The majority of our team members are employed part-time or full-time during a 6-month season (May-October) with returnees starting as soon as March/April for an 8-10 month season. Sales Associate will be responsible for facilitating day-to-day operations at our Clearly Tahoe shop. Sales Associate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable shop appearance, organizing and ensuring products are properly displayed, labeled and free of damage or defects. Sales Associate will be responsible for communicating with pre-scheduled tour guests prior to arrival, facilitating check-in and outfitting guests upon arrival. Sales Associate will be responsible for communicating and relaying information between various department. Sales Associate will help coordinate shuttles for guided tours. Sales Associate should be knowledgeable of the company and prepared to assist guests with questions, recommendations and basic reservations on-site. Sales Associate will be responsible for receiving packages and ensuring the products are free to damage or defects, invoicing deliveries and helping to enter new merchandise into Square. Sales Associate will be scheduled to work in one of our Clearly Tahoe shops. Sales Associate will generally be scheduled to open and close during the slow season but may work open, close or mid-shifts during the summer months. Sales Associate will generally work independently during winter months but will be scheduled to work with co-workers during the busy summer season. Sales Associate may be responsible for bulk inventory checks, training and meetings may be required to work off-site from time to time.
Sales Associate may be scheduled to open the shop, close the shop or work a mid-shift. Shift will average 8-hours/day but could be slightly longer or shorter with seasonal demands. Opening shifts will start between 6:00am and 8:00pm and closing shifts will end between 4:00pm and 10:00pm depending on the season. Part-time scheduled will range from 16-24 hours/week. Job description

Rental Attendant will be expected to prepare for any upcoming reservations and communicate with guests prior to arrival. Rental Attendant will be responsible for greeting guests, making on-site reservations, checking in guests using a computer system. Rental attendant may be responsible for handling money and should be able to carefully and accurately do so in a fast-paced environment. Rental Attendant will be responsible for providing equipment and outfitting participants with the proper supplies. Rental Attendant will be responsible for providing safety lecture and basic instruction to all participants. Rental Attendant will be responsible for ensuring wind and weather conditions are appropriate and communicating rental boundaries to guests. Rental Attendant will be expected to assist guest with entering and exiting vessels and keeping the equipment organized on the beach. Rental Attendant will be expected to monitor guests during their time on the water and prepared to implement Emergency Action Plan if necessary. Job description
Tour Guide will be responsible for preparing for upcoming tours which may include transporting and setting-up boats, equipment, checking the weather conditions. Guides at this location, will be responsible for facilitating the arrival of guests, checking-in and outfitting participants upon arrival and ensuring they have completed liability waivers prior to participation in scheduled activity. Tour guide will be responsible for providing on-site safety lecture to all participants and will be expected to assist guests when entering and exiting the boats. Tour Guides will take guests along a designated tour route while conducting and educational lecture which includes historical information, environmental facts and statistical data. Tour guide will be responsible for entertaining guests and ensuring they have the safest and most enjoyable experience. Guides will be responsible for break-down and clean-up as well as routine maintenance, safety checks and training. Clearly Tahoe shuttle operator will be responsible for checking in guests and transporting them to and from the site of their scheduled tour. Shuttle operators will be expected to hemp transport equipment, staff and customers to and from various Clearly Tahoe operating sites. Shuttle operators at this location should have proficient kayaking/biking knowledge and skills and will act as support-staff to our tour guides. Shuttle operators will be based to work at one of our Clearly Tahoe retails shops and will be trained to help with basic shop-related tasks as a secondary job duty. Shuttle operators should have 2+ years of customer service experience, a clean driving record and be excellent at managing time. Shuttle operators at this location will work with little supervisor and will be responsible for keeping a tight schedule and abiding by all company rules and regulators to ensure the day runs smoothly.About Clearly Tahoe

Shuttle operator will based out of our Clearly Tahoe shop in Incline Village, NV location and will be responsible for transporting equipment, guests and staff between any Clearly Tahoe operating locations. At this location, shuttle operators will often facilitate regular scheduled tours from the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park. An average one-way shuttle run will last between 10 and 25 minutes occurring as often as every 30 minutes or as little as every 2 hours. Group size can range from 2 to 30 guests at this location.Shuttle operators will generally start their shift in the early morning between 6:30am and 8:30am and work from 6-12 hours/day. An average peak summer shift will average 9 hours but may be longer in the event of heavy traffic, emergencies or unfavorable weather conditions. Employees may work up to 5-days per week at this location. This position may be full-time/seasonal or part time/seasonal and will run from March 1st through November 30th. Please Note: Shifts are subjects to be shorter or cancelled entirely in the event of unfavorable weather conditions.

Description:
Under the general supervision of a Lifeguard II/Head Lifeguard, seasonal Lifeguard I positions
maintain visitor safety on assigned beach and waterfront areas, respond to emergency and rescue situations, provide visitor services, patrol beaches on foot to observe behaviors and report unsafe practices and hazards, and maintain a clean waterfront area. Incumbents utilize lifesaving techniques, equipment and watercraft, administer first aid and /or CPR and prepare incident reports. Job Description
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that Clearly Tahoe staff performance and equipment conditions are meeting expected company standards. This includes training staff members on proper use of equipment, monitoring the quality of in person tour services, and maintaining the physical condition of equipment. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for managing all equipment inventory, analyzing issues that may arise from storage and use, and training others on how to reduce issues and extend life expectancy of equipment. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for reviewing incident/loss/damage reports, helping resolve issues and updating the team on new policies or procedures. The Quality Control Supervisor will help oversee inventory, facilitate maintenance, transportation and storage of equipment. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for communicating with other departments regarding equipment needs and helping to facilitate new and replacement orders. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for training all team members who to use equipment including tour guides and shuttle drivers. Training will emphasize safe and proper use of equipment and how to respond to potential emergencies and problems that may arise. The Quality Control Supervisor will encourage tour guides and shuttle drivers to excel in the industry by providing helpful tools, information and training to ensure they succeed. The Quality Control Supervisor will facilitate/help facilitate in-house certification courses, safety trainings and community-based educational programs. The Quality Control Supervisor will help coordinate educational workshops and keep training materials updated accordingly. The Quality Control Supervisor will work on a flexible schedule between the hours of 5:00am and as late as 2:00am with shifts that range from 2-12 hours per day. Our Quality Control Supervisor is expected to work an 8-month season (April – November) but may be asked to start earlier for pre-season training in the first season. Our 4-month high-season runs from June through September. Group size can range from 2 to 20 guests at this location.Shuttle operators will generally start their shift in the early morning between 5:30am and 7:30am and work from 6-12 hours/day. The Reservation Specialist is responsible for facilitating all incoming reservations, cancellations, reservation changes and refunds for Clearly Tahoe’s guided tours and rental operations. The Reservation Specialist will be highly trained on all Clearly Tahoe activities and able to offer in-depth information on each. The Reservation Specialist will communicate with guests via phone, email and as walk-ins at our Clearly Tahoe Retail Shops. This position requires a great deal of patience, organization and excellent communication skills. Reservation Specialist will be expected to forward other business inquiries to the department that is best suited to handle said inquiry. Reservation Specialist will be responsible for checking the weather conditions throughout the day and foreseeable future and communicate any adverse conditions that may impact operations to the Manager on Duty. The Reservation Specialist will be expected to open/close activities within guidelines based on factors including but not limited to weather, staffing, special events and resources. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, The Reservation Specialist will be responsible for communicating with the Manager on Duty, cancelling, refunding or rescheduling guests, and communicating with on-site staff and other sales representatives. Our Office Manager/HR Coordinator will work from our Clearly Tahoe management office in Zephyr Cove, NV. This is a shared-access office for authorized management but primarily intended for our Office Manager/HR Coordinator. This small, shared office is located in a space adjacent to additional meeting rooms and kitchen/break area. Our Office Manager/HR Coordinator may be asked to work off-site from time to time for meetings, events or off-season employment.Schedule Details
Our Office Manager/HR Coordinator will be scheduled to work 6–10-hour shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm (times may vary season to season or upon request and approval). Part-Time will be considered 2-3 days per week, full-Time will be 4+ days per week. Office Manager/HR Coordinator will not be scheduled to work on holidays but may be asked to attend meetings or company events outside of this schedule from time-to time.Operating Season
Office Manager/HR Coordinator can be a 10-month seasonal position however, year-availability is preferred.Clearly Tahoe is a seasonal recreational company that is only open at limited capacity during the winter months. Our 4-month high-season runs from June through September. (Please note: it is highly desired that employees do not have extensive time-off requests during this time) the bulk of our activity division seasonal employees are expected to work between the 6-month period of May through October while extended season and returning employees may work an 8-month period from April through November. First-year sales and reservation team members should be available to work during our 8-month extended season (April – November) while returning and seasonal sales division team members can be expected to work between the 10-month period of February 15th and December 15th.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and keep company-wide calendars.
- Ensure all permits, licensing, registration and contracts are addressed and attended to.

Our boat captain will be responsible for operating our 46ft tri-toon, the Clearly Explorer. Our captain will be responsible for boat related needs and day-to-day operations. Our captain will be responsible for ensuring the vessel is in good mechanical condition and will be responsible for assisting with boat-related mechanical needs including but not limited to simple maintenance and scheduling of licensed contractors, mechanics etc. Our boat captain will be expected to coordinate team drills and trainings aboard the Clearly Explorer and will help with scheduling the crew for tour operations and trainings. This position will be responsible for keeping daily logs and submitting week-end reports. Our deck hand will be responsible for assisting with operations our 46ft tri-toon, the Clearly Explorer. Our deck hand will be responsible for boat related needs and day-to-day operations and should be trained and understand our guide-related operation as well as how to operate the Clearly Explorer in an emergency scenario. Our deck hand will act as an assistant supervisor next to the Captain to oversee a team of up to 2 tour guides. Deck hand will primarily be responsible for boat-related needs and preparing for upcoming tours. Deck hand will assist tour guides with launching of kayaks from the Clearly Explorer and communicating with them while on the water. Our deck-hand should help ensure all operations are safe and enjoyable. Deck hand will be responsible for ensuring everything is stocked, well maintained and that there are back-up supplies available in-stock. They will be responsible for communicating maintenance and supply needs to the captain or appropriate departments. Our Clearly Explorer tour guides will be responsible for facilitating guided kayak tours and sightseeing tours from our 46-foot tri-toon. Guides on the Explorer will be responsible for setting up and well as breaking down the Clearly Explorer and preparing to launch kayaks from the Explorer itself. Guides in this position should have a great deal of experience with boating activities as they will be working closely with a captain and deck hand during their shift to coordinate the safest and most enjoyable experience possible. Guides on the Clearly Explorer will be expected to help facilitate the arrival of guests and well as outfit guests upon arrival and ensure they have all completed waiver before participation in scheduled activity. Tour guides will assist guests to the vessel and be prepared to depart in a timely manner. Tour guide will provide basic facts and history of Lake Tahoe to all passengers while in-route to the launch site of scheduled tour and will be expected to use a mic to communicate with all guests (at once) while underway. Tour guides should be prepared to help launch docks and vessels from the boat and will return them to their proper place post-tour. During the kayak-portion of this experience, guides will be expected to help facilitate the safest and most enjoyable experience for guests. Guides will be expected to communicate with deck hand during recreational experience and will be responsible for assisting deck hand with various maintenance, and stocking needs from time to time.
