Single Kayaks

Single Kayaks will accommodate one participant. Guest weight and belongings must not exceed 375lbs.

Double Kayaks

Double Kayaks can accommodate up to 2 participants. Combined weight must not exceed 375lbs.

Activity Description

Our 1.5-hour Bonsai Rock Clear Kayak Tour is the perfect way to explore one of Lake Tahoe’s most iconic and scenic destinations. Starting from a beautiful sandy beach, guests will paddle south along the rocky shoreline towards the famous Bonsai Rock in a completely transparent kayak. This guided tour offers stunning 365-degree views of turquoise-blue water, pine forests, giant granite boulders, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. With visibility of up to 65 feet beneath the surface, guests can see the lake’s incredible clarity firsthand. Along the way, you’ll learn about the natural and cultural history of the area and how to help protect and preserve Lake Tahoe for future generations.

 

 

This beginner-friendly guided experience is perfect for first-time visitors to Lake Tahoe and anyone ages 6 and up looking to explore the lake’s iconic rocky shoreline and enjoy some of the best views the region has to offer. The completely transparent kayaks offer guests stability and ease of use while offering a window to the world below. Along the way a knowledgeable guide is there to help guests confidently use equipment while offering insight into what makes these views so special and how we can each play a role in Lake Tahoe’s preservation. Known as one of our most picturesque routes, this tour is ideal for photography and sightseeing, though guests should be prepared to paddle steadily to reach key highlights in a timely manner.

There will be complimentary shuttle transportation for this activity. All shuttles are scheduled to depart from our North Clearly Tahoe Shop in Incline Village, NV. Guests must arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled activity for check in.
