Zone 1 | South East Shore
Zone 1 covers the shoreline between Zephyr Cove and Lakeside Beach along the South East Shore of Lake Tahoe. The beaches included in this zone offer stunning views, sandy shoreline, plenty of amenities and are easily accessible for guests staying at the Stateline Casions, the Heavenly Village, or any of South Lake Tahoe’s lodging destinations. We highly recommend paddling this Zone early in the morning before the winds pick up. Winds typically begin to blow from the Southwest around mid day and paired with a strong South current white caps and rough water are possible. Get your paddle in while the lake is glassy then relax and reward yourself with a lakeside treat from one of the many waterfront dining options in this zone.
