We have partnered with some of the best and most exciting businesses in Lake Tahoe to create the ideal Lake Tahoe vacation itinerary. One lucky winner and their guest will be chosen to receive the itinerary and will be given gift cards from each business to help create their own Lake Tahoe dream get away! Gift cards include lodging, dining and activities. Explore our partners and see their contributions below!

All guests who make a Clearly Tahoe reservation during the promotion period of May 15th, 2026 and May 14th, 2027 can enter to win at the time of reservation. Guests may also enter in person by visiting one of our Clearly Tahoe Shops during the promotion period. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Booking a tour or making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and U.S. citizens. Clearly Tahoe 10th Anniversary Giveaway 

Official Terms and Conditions — Revised per Legal Review 

These Terms and Conditions (“Official Rules”) govern participation in the Clearly Tahoe 10th Anniversary Giveaway (“Giveaway”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. These rules apply to Clearly Tahoe and its DBAs, including Bike Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Adventure Shop, as well as all participating partner businesses. 

 

1. Giveaway Period

• • The Giveaway entry period begins May 15, 2026 and runs through May 14, 2027 (“Promotion Period”). 

• • A winner will be selected and announced within 30 days following the close of the entry period. 

• • The winner announcement date may be extended at the sole discretion of Clearly Tahoe if there are difficulties contacting or confirming the selected recipient. 

 

2. Eligibility

• • Open to legal U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. 

• • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Clearly Tahoe, Bike Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Adventure Shop, and all participating partner businesses are not eligible. 

• • No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning. 

• • Entrants must certify eligibility at the time of entry. Clearly Tahoe will verify the winner’s age, identity, and U.S. residency before awarding the prize. 

 

3. How to Enter

 

Method 1 — Checkout Entry 

Guests who book a qualifying Clearly Tahoe experience during the Promotion Period may enter the Giveaway during checkout by checking the following box:

“I would like to enter the Clearly Tahoe 10th Anniversary Giveaway. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not increase my chances of winning. By checking this box, I certify that I am a U.S. resident, at least 18 years old, and agree to the Official Rules.” 

 

Method 2 — Free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) 

Individuals who do not book a tour may enter for free by submitting an entry in person at a Clearly Tahoe storefront. In person entry locations include 1.) 212 Elks Point Rd, Zephyr Cove NV 2.) 893 Tahoe Blvd, Incline Village NV 3.) 2435 Venice Dr E, South Lake Tahoe CA. No purchase is required to use this method of entry. Entries submitted via the free alternative method of entry are not disadvantaged in any way. 

 

Entry Limits 

• • Limit one (1) entry per eligible person (or per unique email address), regardless of the number of reservations made. 

• • Cancellation of a reservation after a valid entry has been submitted does not invalidate the entry. 

• • Duplicate, fraudulent, automated, bot-generated, or otherwise manipulated entries will be disqualified. 

 

4. Winner Selection

• • All eligible entries will be assigned a unique identification number maintained solely by Clearly Tahoe. 

• • Duplicate and disqualified entries will be identified and removed prior to the drawing. 

• • A random number generator will be used to select the winning entry number. 

• • The selection process is final and binding. 

• • Clearly Tahoe will maintain records of: the final eligible entrant list; duplicate or disqualified entries; assigned entrant numbers; random drawing results; and any alternate winner selections. 

• • Clearly Tahoe reserves the right to extend the winner notification window if contact cannot be established in a timely manner. 

 

5. Prize Description

• • The prize consists of gift cards from participating Lake Tahoe businesses, accompanied by a recommended itinerary for a 3-night stay in Lake Tahoe. 

• • Except as expressly stated in the prize description, the prize does not include airfare, transportation, lodging, meals, reservations, taxes, gratuities, or any other travel-related expenses. 

• • The recommended itinerary is provided as a guide for enjoying a 3-night Lake Tahoe experience and accompanies the gift cards as part of the prize package. 

• • Lodging gift card component: 3-night stay at the official lodging partner (The Landing), subject to availability and blackout dates. 

• • Gift card/certificate valid starting June 15, 2027 through June 15, 2029 (2-year validity). 

• • Lodging partner blackout dates shall not exceed 30 days and are limited to the period of June 15 through September 15. 

• • Prize has no cash value. No cash equivalent or cash alternative will be offered under any circumstances. 

 

6. Taxes and Tax Reporting

• • The prize recipient is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt of the award. 

• • The winner may be required to complete a Form W-9 before receiving the prize. 

• • Clearly Tahoe will issue a 1099-MISC to the prize recipient if required by applicable law. 

 

7. Award Acceptance and Decline

• • The selected recipient will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of entry. 

• • The recipient has seven (7) days from the date of notification to accept the award in writing. 

• • Failure to respond within 7 days will constitute a denial of the award. 

• • The recipient may formally decline the award in writing within the same 7-day window. 

• • In the event of denial or non-response, Clearly Tahoe reserves the right to select an alternate winner. 

 

8. Data Use and Communications

• • Entrant contact information may be shared with participating businesses as described in the Privacy Notice attached to these Official Rules. 

• • Entrants should be aware that once their information has been shared with participating businesses, it may not be possible to remove it from those businesses’ records. 

• • Please review the Privacy Notice below for full details on what information is collected, how it is used, and which businesses may receive it. 

 

9. Prior Entries (Transition Notice)

• • The Official Rules of this Giveaway have been updated since the initial launch on May 15, 2026. 

• • Previously submitted eligible entries remain valid under the revised Official Rules. 

• • Entrants who submitted an entry prior to this update are encouraged to review the revised Official Rules. 

• • No purchase was or is necessary to enter or win. Individuals who entered prior to this update may also submit an entry through the free alternative method of entry described in Section 3. 

 

10. Participating Entities

• • These Official Rules apply to and protect: Clearly Tahoe; Bike Lake Tahoe (DBA of Clearly Tahoe); Tahoe Adventure Shop (DBA of Clearly Tahoe); and all participating partner businesses. 

• • All partner contributions are voluntary donations made in exchange for promotional exposure within the Giveaway campaign. 

 

11. General Conditions

• • Clearly Tahoe reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway at any time for any reason. 

• • All decisions made by Clearly Tahoe regarding the Giveaway are final. 

• • Participants agree to release Clearly Tahoe, its DBAs, and all participating partners from any liability arising from participation in or receipt of a prize from this Giveaway.

This Privacy Notice explains how Clearly Tahoe (and its DBAs Bike Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Adventure Shop) collects, uses, and shares information submitted in connection with the Clearly Tahoe 10th Anniversary Giveaway (“Giveaway”). By entering the Giveaway, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice. 

 

1. Information We Collect

When you enter the Giveaway, we collect the following information: 

• • Full name 

• • Email address 

• • Contact phone number (if provided) 

• • Confirmation of U.S. residency and age eligibility 

• • Communication preferences (whether you opt in to receive promotions from participating businesses or from Clearly Tahoe only) 

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to: 

• • Administer the Giveaway, including verifying eligibility and selecting and notifying the winner. 

• • Communicate with you about the Giveaway, including any updates to the Official Rules. 

• • Send you promotional communications from Clearly Tahoe, if you have opted in. 

• • Share your information with participating businesses, as described in Section 3 below. 

 

3. Sharing Information with Participating Businesses

By entering the Giveaway, you acknowledge and agree that Clearly Tahoe may share your contact information (name and email address) with participating businesses involved in this Giveaway. 

 

Which businesses will receive your information? 

Participating businesses include local Lake Tahoe vendors, activity providers, dining establishments, and the official lodging partner (The Landing) who have contributed gift cards or certificates to the Giveaway prize package. A current list of participating businesses is available at ClearlyTahoe.com. 

 

Why is your information shared? 

Your information is shared so that participating businesses may send you promotional communications about their products and services related to the Giveaway campaign. 

 

How may participating businesses use your information? 

Each participating business is required to sign a written data-use agreement with Clearly Tahoe. Under that agreement, participating businesses: 

• • May only use your information for the purpose described above. 

• • May not disclose your information to any third parties. 

• • Must maintain reasonable security measures to protect your information. 

• • Must comply with all applicable privacy laws. 

 

Can your information be removed? 

Please be aware that once your contact information has been shared with participating businesses, it may not be possible for Clearly Tahoe to have it removed from those businesses’ records. If you wish to opt out of communications from a specific participating business, you should contact that business directly. 

 

4. Communication Preferences

At the time of entry, you will be asked to select one of the following communication preferences: 

• “Yes, I would like to receive promotions and updates from Clearly Tahoe and participating businesses.” (Default selection) 

• “I only want to receive promotions and updates from Clearly Tahoe.” 

 

If you select the second option, your contact information will not be shared with participating businesses for promotional purposes. However, Clearly Tahoe will retain your information for Giveaway administration purposes regardless of your selection. 

 

5. Data Retention

Clearly Tahoe will retain entrant information for as long as necessary to administer the Giveaway, fulfill legal and tax obligations, and maintain records of the winner selection process. Following the conclusion of the Giveaway, information may be retained in accordance with applicable law. 

 

6. Security

Clearly Tahoe maintains reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you provide in connection with the Giveaway. Access to entrant data is limited to Clearly Tahoe personnel with a need to know for Giveaway administration purposes.
