We offer full service bike rentals from the South Clearly Tahoe Shop in the Round Hill Plaza in Zephyr Cove, NV. We include everything you may need on your ride including:

Yes, we recommend reserving your desired bike online. Our Specialized Levos are reservation only. Other bikes may be available after 12pm for walk-up, but a reservation is still recommend to ensure guests get a bike in a timely manner.
We offer a variety of different bikes starting at $35 for 1 hour. All bikes can be rented for up to 8 hours, and prices will vary based on the type of bike that a guest is renting. All rates can be found here.
We offer upgrades such as kids carts, dog carts, and radio helmets for an additional fee.
One rider will need to bring a valid photo ID(drivers license or passport) in order to rent a bike.
It is recommended to bring light layers and wear tennis shoes while you are riding. For E-bikes, additional protective gear is recommended, including gloves and pads.
Yes, we provide riders with a helmet that is required to wear while participants are riding a bike.
If you are within our designated roadside assist region, you can call our South Clearly Tahoe Shop and someone will come assist you with getting your bike repaired.
Calls for assistance or bike retrieval outside of our roadside assistance region will result in a $100.00 retrieval fee per bike + $5.00 per mile in addition to any incidentals or damage to the bike. Rental time will end when the bike is returned to our shop by customer or staff member.
We recommend renting a bike early in the day in order to enjoy a full day of riding while also beating the heat and crowds in the summer months. Our bike rentals open at 8am, and can be rented for up to 8 hours.
One member of your party must be over 18 in order to rent a bike. Guests must be 4 years of age or older to participate in recreational activities. Guests must be 12 years of age or older to operate our electric and electric assist bikes(Turbo Levo, Como and Haul ST/LT), but may ride as a passenger on electric bikes with an adult(18+). Participants 16 and under must be actively supervised by an adult 18+. All participants under 18 must have an adult present to sign liability waivers at the time of check-in.
The Specialized Haul ST/LT have a seat for a child 12 years or under to sit and ride on the back of the bike.
The Nevada Beach Loop is highly recommended for beginners. The trail is paved for most of the ride and has small rolling hills that are easy to navigate. There may be small obstacles on the trail such as tree roots or small rocks, but they are easy to walk or pedal around.
Yes! We have a diverse rental fleet with accommodations for all skill levels. Beginner riders are suggested to take our Haul ST Pedal Assist Bike on paved trails. More experienced mountain bikers may want to try out the Specialized Levo Comp Alloy on unpaved terrain.
Lake Tahoe is situated at 6,350 feet above sea level. Our E-bikes make for a more enjoyable and leisurely ride, even in the high altitude!
Yes! We recommend taking one of our e-bikes on the Nevada Beach Loop, which gives riders access to both Nevada Beach and Round Hill Pines Beach.
There are multiple trailheads within one block of our shop.
The beach can be accessed on the Nevada Beach Cruiser Trail, which is located across the street from the plaza our shop is in. Guests can cross HWY 50 at the crosswalk at the traffic light and follow Elks Point Rd until they see the trail entry on the left(about 1/4 of a mile).
There is a network of trails located behind our shop in Round Hill Plaza. Guests can exit Round Hill Plaza and enter the trailhead next to the gas station. Follow our signs that will point you in the right direction!
Dogs are permitted on the trails around Zephyr Cove, NV. Nevada Beach, which is located across the street from our rental location, is a dog friendly beach.
