Job description
Rental Attendant will be responsible for setting up rental concession and preparing for the day. Rental Attendant will be expected to prepare for any upcoming reservations and communicate with guests prior to arrival. Rental Attendant will be responsible for greeting guests, making on-site reservations, checking in guests using a computer system. Rental attendant may be responsible for handling money and should be able to carefully and accurately do so in a fast-paced environment. Rental Attendant will be responsible for providing equipment and outfitting participants with the proper supplies. Rental Attendant will be responsible for providing safety lecture and basic instruction to all participants. Rental Attendant will be responsible for ensuring wind and weather conditions are appropriate and communicating rental boundaries to guests. Rental Attendant will be expected to assist guest with entering and exiting vessels and keeping the equipment organized on the beach. Rental Attendant will be expected to monitor guests during their time on the water and prepared to implement Emergency Action Plan if necessary. Rental Attendant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and professional work environment free of trash and hazardous equipment. Rental Attendant will be expected to provide information and recommendations to guests as well as ensure they have an enjoyable time during their experience. Rental Attendant will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment on and off-site, breaking down rental concession and ensuring all equipment is secured at the end of the day.

Work Environment
Rental Attendants will primarily work on-site at the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park but will be required to clock-in and start their shift at an alternative location in Incline Village, NV. Rental Attendant may be provide alternative work off-site from time to time. Rental Attendant will work in a team environment and should be cross-trained on all responsibilities of the rental concession.

Rental Attendant will be scheduled to either open or close the concession and may be responsible for both opening and closing during the slow season. Shift for this position will primarily be in the morning and may start as early as 6:00am for an opening shift or as late at 12:00 noon for a closing shift. Closing shift may run as late as 8:00pm in peak season. Shifts for this position range from 8-10 hours and will average 40 hours/week for a full-time employee. Employees may work up to 5-days per week at this location. This position may be full-time/seasonal or part time/seasonal and will run from March 1^st through November 30^th.

Beach Attendant Primary Responsibilities

Clearly Tahoe shuttle operator will be responsible for checking in guests and transporting them to and from the site of their scheduled tour. Shuttle operators will be expected to hemp transport equipment, staff and customers to and from various Clearly Tahoe operating sites. Shuttle operators at this location should have proficient kayaking/biking knowledge and skills and will act as support-staff to our tour guides. Shuttle operators will be based to work at one of our Clearly Tahoe retails shops and will be trained to help with basic shop-related tasks as a secondary job duty. Shuttle operators should have 2+ years of customer service experience, a clean driving record and be excellent at managing time. Shuttle operators at this location will work with little supervisor and will be responsible for keeping a tight schedule and abiding by all company rules and regulators to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Work Environment
Shuttle operator will based out of our Clearly Tahoe shop in Incline Village, NV location and will be responsible for transporting equipment, guests and staff between any Clearly Tahoe operating locations. At this location, shuttle operators will often facilitate regular scheduled tours from the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park. An average one-way shuttle run will last between 10 and 25 minutes occurring as often as every 30 minutes or as little as every 2 hours. Group size can range from 2 to 30 guests at this location.

Shuttle operators will generally start their shift in the early morning between 6:30am and 8:30am and work from 6-12 hours/day. An average peak summer shift will average 9 hours but may be longer in the event of heavy traffic, emergencies or unfavorable weather conditions. Employees may work up to 5-days per week at this location. This position may be full-time/seasonal or part time/seasonal and will run from March 1^st through November 30^th.  Please Note: Shifts are subjects to be shorter or cancelled entirely in the event of unfavorable weather conditions.

Sales Associate will be responsible for communicating with pre-scheduled tour guests prior to arrival, facilitating check-in and outfitting guests upon arrival. Sales Associate will be responsible for communicating and relaying information between various department. Sales Associate will help coordinate shuttles for guided tours. Sales Associate will be responsible for answering the phone and occasional emails. Sales Associate should be knowledgeable of the company and prepared to assist guests with questions, recommendations and basic reservations on-site. Work Environment
Sales Associate will be scheduled to work in one of our Clearly Tahoe shops. Sales Associate will generally be scheduled to open and close during the slow season but may work open, close or mid-shifts during the summer months. Sales Associate will generally work independently during winter months but will be scheduled to work with co-workers during the busy summer season. Sales Associate may be responsible for bulk inventory checks, training and meetings may be required to work off-site from time to time.

Sales Associate may be scheduled to open the shop, close the shop or work a mid-shift. Shift will average 8-hours/day but could be slightly longer or shorter with seasonal demands. Job description
Our bike tour guide will be responsible for all bike-related operations including but not limited to; maintenance of bikes, designing tour routes and facilitating guided tours with a group of 2-10 guests. Our bike tour guide should be a proficient mountain biker and have experience working with both electric and non electric bikes. Our bike tour guide will be responsible for transportation of equipment, staff and guests between storage location(2) and tour site(s). All of our tour guides will be responsible for checking in guests upon arrival and outfitting them with the proper gear. Bike tour guide should be able to adjust various bike settings on Specialized Turbo Levo mountain bikes to ensure they are properly fit for each rider’s hight and weight. Tour guides for this location will also be trained to assist with shop sales and expected to assist with general shop duties from time to time.

Work Environment
Our bike tour guide will primarily be scheduled to work at our Zephyr Cove location but may be provided shifts at other tour-sites from time to time. Maintenance and alternative work including, but not limited to; pre and post season prep, training and meetings may take place off-site at other operating locations. Land experience employees at our Zephyr Cove location will mostly work independently but may be required to work within a team environment on occasion. Employees at this location will be required to facilitate tours and occasional on-site activities without supervision.

Shift at this location will primarily be during normal business hours however may extend to the late afternoon hours from time to time. Opening shifts can begin as early as 7:00am and will last approximately 6-8 hours. Closing shifts may run at last as 8:00pm during peak season. Shifts may range between 16-32+ hours/week depending on the season. Employees may work up to 5-days per week at this location. This position is considered seasonal and will run from April 1st through November 30th.

Job description
Clearly Tahoe shuttle operator will be responsible for checking in guests and transporting them to and from the site of their scheduled tour. Shuttle operators will be expected to hemp transport equipment, staff and customers to and from various Clearly Tahoe operating sites. Shuttle operators at this location should have proficient kayaking/biking knowledge and skills and will act as support-staff to our tour guides. Shuttle operators will be based to work at one of our Clearly Tahoe retails shops and will be trained to help with basic shop-related tasks as a secondary job duty. Shuttle operators should have 2+ years of customer service experience, a clean driving record and be excellent at managing time. Shuttle operators at this location will work with little supervisor and will be responsible for keeping a tight schedule and abiding by all company rules and regulators to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Work Environment
Shuttle operator will based out of our Clearly Tahoe shop in Zephyr Cove, NV location and will be responsible for transporting equipment, guests and staff between any Clearly Tahoe operating locations. At this location, shuttle operators will often facilitate regular scheduled tours from the Cave Rock Nevada State Park, Spooner Lake Nevada State Park and our Edgewood Tahoe lodge location. An average one-way shuttle run will last between 5 and 30 minutes occurring as often as every 30 minutes or as little as every 2 hours. Group size can range from 2 to 20 guests at this location.

Shuttle operators will generally start their shift in the early morning between 5:30am and 7:30am and work from 6-12 hours/day. An average peak summer shift will average 9 hours but may be longer in the event of heavy traffic, emergencies or unfavorable weather conditions. Employees may work up to 5-days per week at this location. This position may be full-time/seasonal or part time/seasonal and will run from March 1^st through November 30^th.  Please Note: Shifts are subjects to be shorter or cancelled entirely in the event of unfavorable weather conditions.

Sales Associate should be knowledgeable of the company and prepared to assist guests with questions, recommendations and basic reservations on-site. Sales Associate will be responsible for receiving packages and ensuring the products are free to damage or defects, invoicing deliveries and helping to enter new merchandise into Square. Work Environment

Job description
Tour Guide will be responsible for preparing for upcoming tours which may include transporting and setting-up boats, equipment, checking the weather conditions. Guides at this location, will be responsible for facilitating the arrival of guests, checking-in and outfitting participants upon arrival and ensuring they have completed liability waivers prior to participation in scheduled activity. Tour guide will be responsible for providing on-site safety lecture to all participants and will be expected to assist guests when entering and exiting the boats. Tour Guides will take guests along a designated tour route while conducting and educational lecture which includes historical information, environmental facts and statistical data. Tour guide will be responsible for entertaining guests and ensuring they have the safest and most enjoyable experience. Guides will be responsible for break-down and clean-up as well as routine maintenance, safety checks and training. Secondary tasks include training of new guides, pre and post season maintenance and assembly.

Job description
Our boat captain will be responsible for operating our 46ft tri-toon, the Clearly Explorer. Our captain will be responsible for boat related needs and day-to-day operations. Our captain will oversee a team of up to 3-6 tour guides and deck hands trained to facilitate guided tours from the Clearly Explorer. Our captain will be responsible for ensuring conditions are suitable for operations and deciding where the Clearly Tahoe will go taking into consideration wind, weather and seasonal boat activity. Our captain will be responsible for ensuring the vessel is in good mechanical condition and will be responsible for assisting with boat-related mechanical needs including but not limited to simple maintenance and scheduling of licensed contractors, mechanics etc. Our boat captain will be expected to coordinate team drills and trainings aboard the Clearly Explorer and will help with scheduling the crew for tour operations and trainings. This position will be responsible for keeping daily logs and submitting week-end reports. Our boat captain will be responsible for keeping a tight schedule and ensuring all operations are running safely and smoothly for the upmost enjoyable experience for our guests and team members.

Work Environment
Our boat captain will primarily be schedule to work at our Tahoe Keys Marina location located in South Lake Tahoe, CA but may be expected to assist with off-site needs as well as attend meetings off-site from time to time. Our boat captain will be scheduled to either open or close during peak season but may be responsible for both during the off-season or on shorter days. This is a tiered team work environment where the captain will be expected to oversee a supervisor-level deck hand as well as up to 2 tour guides during a shift. Shifts at this location will most commonly begin at 7:30 or 8:30am and will last 9.5-10 hours/day on a normal day. Shifts may be as short a 6-hours if there is unfavorable weather conditions or if the team is simply running drills or promotional events. Captain and crew will have the opportunity to take a standard lunch on-site between scheduled excursions and will be expected to end their shift between 5 and 7:00pm. Shifts at this location will be paid OT for daily hours exceeding 10 hours/shift. Team members at this locations will generally be scheduled to work 4-10/hour shifts for full-time employment and 2-3 days/week and 10-30 hours/week for part-time positions. The season for our Clearly Explorer operation runs from May 1st – October 31st but may be extended earlier or later int he event of favorable weather conditions.

Boat Captain Primary Responsibilities
– Clock-in on-time prepared to work.
– Check the weather conditions and ensure they are suitable for daily operations.
– Notify reservation office of any need to cancel or reschedule due to wind or weather conditions.
– Assist with calling off team and/or guests if necessary.
– Create daily tour plan.
– Ensure team is on-site and prepared to work.

Explorer Kayak Tour Guide | South Lake Tahoe, CA

Job description
Our Clearly Explorer tour guides will be responsible for facilitating guided kayak tours and sightseeing tours from our 46-foot tri-toon. Guides on the Explorer will be responsible for setting up and well as breaking down the Clearly Explorer and preparing to launch kayaks from the Explorer itself. Guides in this position should have a great deal of experience with boating activities as they will be working closely with a captain and deck hand during their shift to coordinate the safest and most enjoyable experience possible. Guides on the Clearly Explorer will be expected to help facilitate the arrival of guests and well as outfit guests upon arrival and ensure they have all completed waiver before participation in scheduled activity. Tour guides will assist guests to the vessel and be prepared to depart in a timely manner. Tour guide will provide basic facts and history of Lake Tahoe to all passengers while in-route to the launch site of scheduled tour and will be expected to use a mic to communicate with all guests (at once) while underway. Tour guides should be prepared to help launch docks and vessels from the boat and will return them to their proper place post-tour. During the kayak-portion of this experience, guides will be expected to help facilitate the safest and most enjoyable experience for guests. Guides will be expected to communicate with deck hand during recreational experience and will be responsible for assisting deck hand with various maintenance, and stocking needs from time to time. Tour guides should be trained and capable of filling in for deck hand in their absence or in the event of an emergency scenario.

Clearly Tahoe is a full-service recreational company in the Lake Tahoe area that specializes in guided tours and rentals on both land and water. We currently feature guided tours from 7 different Lake Tahoe locations, operate 1 on-site rental concessions and 2 adventure-themed retail shops in the Tahoe basin. In addition to our popular tours in completely transparent kayaks, Clearly Tahoe also offers on-site rentals from the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park, excursions from our 46 foot tri-toon, hiking, biking and snowshoe tours during the off-season. With a team of more than 60 employees, Clearly Tahoe offers a variety of both seasonal and year-round positions, in-house training, and growth opportunities.

Work Environment
Our Explorer tour guides will primarily be schedule to work at our Tahoe Keys Marina location located in South Lake Tahoe, CA but may be expected to assist with off-site needs as well as attend meetings off-site from time to time. Our tour guides will be scheduled to either open or close during peak season but may be responsible for both during the off-season or on shorter days. This is a tiered team work environment where the captain will be expected to oversee a supervisor-level deck hand, and the deck hand will be expected to oversee guide-related operations while in session or all related needs in the absence of a captain. Guides will be expected to work together in a partner-scenario to conduct guided tour with large group. This will involve taking turns and alternating duties at times.

Shifts at this location will most commonly begin at 7:30 or 8:30am and will last 9.5-10 hours/day on a normal day. Shifts may be as short a 6-hours if there is unfavorable weather conditions or if the team is simply running drills or promotional events. Crew aboard the Explorer will have the opportunity to take a standard lunch on-site between scheduled excursions and will be expected to end their shift between 5 and 7:00pm. Shifts at this location will be paid OT for daily hours exceeding 10 hours/shift. Team members at this locations will generally be scheduled to work 4-10/hour shifts for full-time employment and 2-3 days/week and 10-30 hours/week for part-time positions. The season for our Clearly Explorer operation runs from May 1st – October 31st but may be extended earlier or later int he event of favorable weather conditions.

Tour Guide Primary Responsibilities
– Clock-in on-time prepared to work.
– Check the weather conditions and ensure they are suitable for daily operations.
– Notify captain or deck hand of any weather related concerns.
– Assist with calling off guests if necessary.
– Help facilitate the arrival of guests as well as check-in and outfitting.
– Help prepare the Clearly Explorer for upcoming tour.
– Help prepare to launch activities from the Clearly Explorer
– Conduct guided tour activities from Clearly Explorer or while underway.
– Ensure snacks and refreshments have been set-out and are re-stocked as necessary.
– Log and report any incidents or damages immediately to all necessary parties. (as necessary)
– Be prepared to implement EAP as well as fulfill role of deckhand if and when necessary.
– Ensure all closing tasks for the Explorer have been completed.
– Help with maintenance-related needs aboard the explorer.
– Help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Tour Guides Should be able to comfortably;
– Arrive on time and be prepared to work.
