Job Description
Site Manager will be responsible for assisting with all managerial aspects of on-site activities at the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park and Incline Village check-in location.  Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring all operations are running smoothly by preventing problems, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive environment for both customers and staff. Site manager will assist with hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews and disciplinary actions with the oversight of the General Manager and HR Manager. Site manager will ensure all staff is trained and will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, equipment and safety checks, inventory, and EAP drills. Site manager will work with the reservation team to resolve issues, complaints and prevent problems from reoccurring. Site manager manager will not work as a beach attendant, guide or sales associate but may fill-in or assist from time to time in emergency scenarios and should be properly trained in all positions. Site manager will be responsible for a level of reporting and will be expected to attend managerial meetings.

We currently feature guided tours from 7 different Lake Tahoe locations, operate 2 on-site rental concessions and 3 adventure themed retail shops in the basin. In addition to our popular tours in completely transparent kayaks, Clearly Tahoe also offers on-site rentals from the Sand Harbor Nevada State Park, excursions from our 46 foot tri-toon, hiking, biking and snowshoe tours during the off-season. Site Manager Primary Responsibilities
– Help oversee all operational aspects for select location/activity.
– Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary action of employees.
– Oversee team in fast-paced environment. Ensure staff take breaks.
– Coordinate safety drills and trainings.
– Implement Emergency Action Plans when necessary.
– Conduct routine safety and maintenance checks.
– Communicate with other departments.
– Assist guests with on-site activities
– Help schedule team.
– Help resolve staffing issues when necessary.
– Attend managerial meetings
– Conduct routine reports
– Run inventory checks.

Assistant Manager Should be able to;
– Lift 50lbs.
– Swim
– Drive and Operate Vehicle
– Drive and Operate Small Outboard Vessel
– Oversee a Team
– Coordinate in a Fast-Paced Environment
– Respond to Emergencies (Lifeguard or EMT certification preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal (10 Months)

Base Training Rate: $14.00/hour
Starting Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (determined by experience and level of certification)

Job Qualifications:
Must be fluent in English
Able to lift 50lbs
Proficient kayaking skills
Proficient paddleboarding skills
Able to swim 300 yards (freestyle or breaststroke)
Able to surface dive to 10 feet and retrieve a 10lb. object
Tread water for 2 minutes
Clean driving record
Maintain Maritime Consortium Status (Ability to pass random drug tests)

Preferred Skills:
Ability to multi-task
Proficient in computer systems
Ability to drive and park a trailer

Driver’s License
First Aid/CPR
Lifeguard Certification
Paramedic License (Preferred)
EMT Certification (Preferred)
Boating License (Preferred)
